Overview
Microsoft Corporation has an immediate opening for a Law Enforcement Response Specialist to join its Law Enforcement and National Security (LENS) team. The successful candidate will be highly organized, motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a global team. Once training has been fully completed, a new response specialist may work remotely up to 20% of the time in our hybrid environment. Organization LENS is part of theGlobal Affairsorganization within Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA). As part ofGlobal Affairs, the LENS teamis responsible forbalancing public safety and global trust in Microsoft through principled advocacy and compliance with government demands for data that respect the rule of law and our customers' privacy. LENS provides this support for Microsoft's online services such as Outlook.com, OneDrive, Xbox Live, Skype,M365and Azure. Within the global LENS team, response specialists review and respond to criminal and civil legal demands in compliance with Microsoft's lawful access policies, customer commitments, and applicable laws. Specialistsare responsible forensuring that these requests are processed both expeditiously and accurately. This requires a keen eye for detail, superior judgement, and effective multi-tasking abilities. In addition to responding to legal demands, Specialists alsoassistother teams at Microsoft in support of the company's commitments to customer security and digital safety. These teams are engaged in the detection and prevention of child exploitation, cybercrime, business email compromise, and other enforcement efforts to protect our customers' security and privacy. The role also involves regular engagement with law enforcement agencies, providing training on Microsoft's policies andprocess. Responsibilities

#CELA Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
