The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The supervisor is responsible for supervising staff members in the performance of their duties and assisting the Screening Program Director and Assistant Clinical Director in the administration of a 24-hour operation. The Supervisor serves as the outreach liaison for all community agencies. Exercises supervisory authority and independent judgment in assigning employee labor.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology or related clinical field
  • Certified Mental Health Screener or previous experience to be immediately eligible for Screening Certification
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Valid NJ Driver's license

Preferred:

  • Previous supervisory experience

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full-Time
  • Evening Shift
  • 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

  • Acts as liaison to community agencies, law enforcement and patient's families to effect outreach within the geographic area of Monmouth County.
  • Participates in providing annual community-based education to Monmouth County agencies. Participates in behavioral health education projects i.e., MMC Behavioral Health Conferences
  • Provides direct patient care on-site and off-site during high volume
  • Responsible for supervision of mobile practicum for designated Screening Centers. Supervises the triage of in-coming clients to maintain timely flow of patients from Emergency Department to PESS. Assigns cases to staff members as appropriate
  • Supervises and develops the implementation of treatment plans for patients based upon the team assessment
  • Performs other duties as required
