JOB SUMMARY

The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors and providing them with the support they need, answering calls, solving problems, managing incoming and outgoing mail and other administrative duties as needed.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, typing, and using computers at a level normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, GED, or related field or equivalent experience; and
  • 1-2 years' experience in multi-line telephone systems and customer service.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience providing administrative support.


KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Organized, resourceful, and dependable.
  • Technical skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, multi-line telephone systems and printers.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to solve problems, work under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Welcomes visitors and provide support as needed.
  • Answers main phone lines, solving problems, and directing calls.
  • Receiving, sorting, distributing, and dispatching daily mail and packages.
  • Assists Accounting with daily check log.
  • Manage and order office supplies as needed.
  • Schedules FedEx, UPS, etc. orders.
  • Update and maintain job site locations and contacts.
  • Maintain safety standards and a clean, organized work area.
  • Assists operations and HR team with administrative duties.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
