Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Direct operations, fleet, and maintenance of concrete production - Assure work conforms to federal and state standards, accepted principles of design and engineering - Manage capital improvement project budgets and ROIs - Direct and supervise ready mix operations and sales teams in North/West Oregon - Responsible for operating efficiencies and site profits - Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/ respectful of others - Troubleshoot and problem solve (material quality, equipment operations/repair, etc.) - Manage and assist in resolving employee problems - Ensure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance - Perform other duties as assigned - Engage in industry associations -Research and implement products and procedures to reduce carbon footprint -Research and implement new safety and efficiency protocols Minimum Qualifications: - Management experience - Past P&L responsibilities - Concrete production, Fleet Management, and maintenance experience - Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) - Work with difficult people under high stress situations - Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills - Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen - Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers Additional Information Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits: How To Apply: To be considered for this position, candidates must complete and submit an employment application at https://www.kniferiver.com/careers/ by the posting deadline noted above.
