ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Perform administrative duties for the management team to include general daily duties, such as answering the telephone, typing, ordering office supplies (monitor spending), maintaining department files, making appointments and scheduling meetings

  • Use computer software, such as Word, Excel, SAP, to produce reports, presentations or other documents

  • Daily receiving and handling of incoming customer inquiries concerning construction applications

  • Collect, compile and organize filings. Initiate and compose correspondence, Transmit filings to the PUC and regulatory parties

  • Communicate cross-functionally issues and needs, as well as externally to customers, vendors and contractors

  • Support Restoration process, which includes placing PA One Calls, analyzing data, mapping information, obtaining meter reads, creating/updating work orders and customer account information, and tracking data via SharePoint database

  • Perform invoice requisitions, process invoices, reconcile purchase card statements, handle confidential records and information and make travel arrangements

  • Maintain department information databases

  • Process confidential records, SIRs, SLDs, Approval Letters, and Gas Applications

  • Investigate questionable areas on reports or requests for information and make administrative decisions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 0-2 years experience in general office responsibilities and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to learn and retain knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures

  • Excellent computer software skills (Microsoft Office and various software programs)

  • High level of initiative and judgement

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to collect and compile data efficiently

  • Proficient in SAP

  • Ability to multitask, use time management skills to coordinate multiple customer requests

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Perform sedentary work- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
