We areseekinga highly motivated Data Scientist with Palantir experience to join our team and drive impactful, data-driven decision-making across the organization, overcoming the challenge of complex, messy data.You will conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to plan, build, andmaintaindata pipeline integration in Foundry, generating actionable insights, and overcoming data quality issues that influence outcomes.Import and sync to various data sources, clean and standardize data elements, and fix data quality issues. Use code authoring tools to make data accessible so clients can use it to evaluate and optimize policy.Build processes for users and data owners to interact with their data "in platform" using a variety of technologies.Develop innovative solutions for complex data-driven problems, in coordination with a knowledge management team.Implement effective low-code/no-code projects, workflow automation, and technical integration to help Military Service stakeholders solve their process and executive reporting challenges.

Build clear, compelling, and effective data visualizations that communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, generating insights that are accessible and actionable. Close collaboration with engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders will enable you to develop a deep understanding of their data.Advise Service clients on what their information means and how it can be used to generate decisions with strategic impact. In this role,you'lldirectlyimpactArmy strategic investments by building transformative solutions essential to designing and managing data initiatives to best overcome Army technology challenges.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, modeling, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
  • 1+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry and data pipeline implementation using integration architectures such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or API Management
  • Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages such as Python or R, or coding in Python andPySpark
  • Experience deploying data workflows and models within Palantir Foundry including Code Repository, Ontology Manager and Workshop
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum processes
  • Secret clearance
  • Associate'sdegree and 7+ years of experience in data science, OR Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in data science

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks,Advana, Power BI, or Gotham
  • Experience translating end-user requirements into low-code/no-code-based solutions, in coordination with designers and business process engineers.
  • Experience customizing tools built in platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps
  • Experience working on classified systems and in resource-limited environments
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data in mission-critical environments
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense such as Service Headquarters, Program Management Office, or Chief Information Office
  • Experience with Army FMS IT systems of record such as DSAMS, MISIL, FMS ACES, or SCIP preferred
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
