Retail Lending Administrator (NE-9)

Chelsea Groton is looking to hire motivated and dynamic individuals to join our Retail Lending team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, collaborative, and personable individual that thrives in a team-based environment. Strong communication within the bank among Loan Officers, Sales Assistants as well as outside vendors and Real Estate Attorneys and their staff. Responsibilities and Requirements vary based on job level. Expectations include:

Processing and Closing all Retail Loan Applications

  • Manages and closes consumer and real estate loans after underwriting approval. Ensure all conditions are satisfied, thirdparty services are ordered and received, and the file is fully prepared for closing. Work closely with underwriters, sales assistants, and loan officers to deliver an accurate, timely, and seamless loan experience.
  • Reviews the underwriter's conditional approval and request outstanding items through the loan operating system. Collect, verify, and attach required documentation. Order and track thirdparty services such as appraisals, title work, insurance, VOE/VOI, mortgage insurance, payoffs, and verification services to ensure completeness and compliance.
  • Completes closing information in the Loan Operating System, including escrow calculations. Prepare accurate and complete closing documentation for all retail loan types (CHFA, FHA, VA, USDA) and deliver closing packages to settlement agents.
