Security Officer - Commercial Site - Driver

As a Security Officer - Commercial Site - Driver in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine patrols and security-related checks while remaining highly visible to help to deter incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in line with AU Driver Policy requirements. You will greet tenants and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and support an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or unauthorized persons, taking appropriate action per post orders.
• Complete routine reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate key information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
