Job Description




As a Security Officer Flex Security Clearance Patrol-Driver in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points through clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to client employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures for an aerospace and defense location, including access control and badging verification as assigned.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate contacts according to post orders and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, and report unusual conditions through the approved reporting process.
  • Monitor entry points, vehicle gates, and/or delivery areas as assigned, verifying authorization and directing traffic flow in accordance with site policies.
  • Complete shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
