About the role

As a Nuclear Analysis Technician, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our nuclear operations.

You will report to the Manager, Nuclear Design, and work a hybrid role, based in Cranberry, PA. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist engineers and other higher classified personnel in technical type functions related to the generation, assemblage, and verification of nuclear analysis information.
  • You will identify engineering work which requires a high degree of manipulative or other special skills acquired through experience, coupled with technical training and application of knowledge in the area of specialization.
  • You will support engineering work which requires a high degree of manipulative or other specific skills acquired.
  • Support the analysis, summarization, and preparation of data into written and graphic form requiring calculations involving the use of basic algebraic formulae and trigonometric functions.
  • Review computer program input using computer input sheets or specific check programs.
  • Help prepare computer input alterations and modifications based on information derived from initial raw data analysis.


Qualifications:

Associates Degree Required- Technical curriculum is preferred.

Must Haves

2 Courses in Math

2 Course in Physics.

OR

60 College Credits in an Engineering Curriculum

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:




  • 1+ years of experience in a laboratory environment helpful
  • Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.



No amount of experience will be permitted to substitute for the required education in a Nuclear Analysis Technician position. However, recognized technical programs will be permitted to substitute for the required formal education. Some examples of acceptable technical programs would be the Naval Nuclear or other military programs.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $41,000 to $61,000 per year.
