The Sr. HR Generalist drives impactful onboarding experiences, champions employee engagement, and fosters a positive, high-energy workplace culture through strong communication, fair and consistent policy application, and proactive employee relations support. Delivers seamless HR operations-from compliance and reporting to cross-functional collaboration-while confidently managing sensitive information and resolving employee needs in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct new hire orientation and any other necessary on-boarding activities.

  • Support employee engagement wide initiatives.

  • Provide administrative support including record keeping, file maintenance and HRTS entry.

  • Strives to ensure that there is strong communication of all employee programs in an effort to increase employee engagement and morale.

  • Provides day-to-day employee relations and performance counseling.

  • Assures fair and consistent administration of all human resources policies and practices.

  • Resolves any employee concerns.

  • Experience collaborating with all levels of staff and management in a fast-paced environment.

  • May be involved in investigating employee related issues and/or concerns.

  • Works with assigned client groups to field basic questions concerning policies, procedures, benefits, payroll and processes.

  • Comply with all existing government, labor and legal reporting requirements to minimize company exposure to lawsuits and manages sensitive and confidential information.

  • Administer Department of Transportation (DOT) Program.

  • Policy administration, compliance reporting (EEOC, AAP, FAA reporting), I-9 administration etc.

  • Must demonstrate proficiency with common office tools such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Assist with recruiting efforts, candidate interview/selection, career fairs etc.

  • Carries out other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to Human Resources

  • 5 years' experience in Human Resources

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Experienced in Microsoft office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, organization, decision making, oral and written communication skills

  • Creative out-of-the box thinker
