Essential Functions

  1. Master Data Maintenance
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate master data (items, BOMs, routings).
  • Ensure data integrity and standardization across modules.
  1. Data Accuracy & Validation
  • Review and validate data inputs before processing.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information, or incorrect values and correct them promptly.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure database accuracy.
  1. Transaction Processing
  • Enter and manage key transactions within the ERP system
  • Ensure transactions follow defined workflows and approval paths.
  1. Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Document data processes, workflows, and standards.
  • Identify inefficiencies in data handling and recommend improvements.
  • Support Lean initiatives through data accuracy and visibility.
  1. CrossFunctional Collaboration
  • Work closely with INVBOM, Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Customer Service, Accounting, and IT to ensure data supports operational needs.
  • Help teams understand how ERP data impacts downstream processes.

  1. Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail and accuracy
  2. Understanding of product structure, database logic, and general manufacturing processes
  3. Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, identify trends, and draw valid conclusions
  4. Self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks
  5. Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  6. Ability to work independently and/or cooperatively and effectively in a cross-functional team

Pay Range:

Hourly Wage: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Freedman by Lippert determines pay based on several factors, including but not limited to the position being offered, education, skills, work experience, and other factors permitted by law. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities upon hiring; however, potential direct reports are a possibility.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly talk and listen. This position is not very active when it comes to movement and requires a lot of typing and sitting in a chair.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary.

Travel

Local travel expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  1. High school diploma, some college preferred
  2. MS office (outlook, excel, word)
  3. Made to Manage or ERP experience a plus.
  4. Ability to interpret engineering prints
  5. Comfortable working with those in manufacturing and occasionally being on the shop floor
  6. Detail Orientation
  7. Able to work on a cross functional team.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Manufacturing experience
  2. General ERP knowledge
  3. Bill of material maintenance
  4. Quality experience
  5. Inventory control experience

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
