Mortgage Closer (On-Site) - Phoenix, AZ \| $25/hr Location: 3201 East Elwood Street, Phoenix, AZ Pay: $25/hour Schedule: * Training (2-3 weeks): 8AM-5PM or 7AM-4:30PM * PostTraining: 8:30AM-5:30PM * Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of mortgage closing experience Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Closer to support highvolume mortgage operations, including refinance and purchase loans. The ideal candidate has an experience in reviewing loan documentation, initiating thirdparty orders, verifying taxes and insurance, and ensuring loans meet closing requirements within strict timelines. This position requires accuracy, urgency, and excellent problemsolving skills. Key Responsibilities * Review and validate mortgage loan documents for accuracy * Process refinance and purchase loans * Initiate thirdparty orders (title, appraisal, insurance, credit, flood cert, etc.) * Verify taxes, insurance, and all compliance-related information * Complete data entry and maintain accurate loan files * Manage work queues and respond to calls, emails, and chats * Scrub loan files to meet closing standards * Meet daily production goals (8-10 loan closings per day) * Work efficiently in a fastpaced, high-volume environment Qualifications * 3+ years of mortgage closing experience required * Strong understanding of mortgage processes; knowledge of federal, state, and local mortgage regulations preferred * High attention to detail and ability to work independently * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong math, analytical, and problemsolving ability * Effective timemanagement skills and ability to meet deadlines * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and mortgage-related systems Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
