Description The Mortgage PostClosing Clerk supports the Closing & PostClosing department by tracking, organizing, and processing mortgage documentation after loans have closed. This role ensures all trailing documents are collected, indexed, and properly filed, contributing directly to compliance accuracy and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Include: Reviewing postclosing reports and identifying outstanding or missing documents. Contacting attorney settlement agents and other external parties to obtain required documents. Logging, scanning, and uploading incoming mail and physical documents into the system. Ensuring documents are linked to the correct loan file to maintain data integrity. Preparing complete files to be forwarded to internal processing teams. Maintaining organized tracking logs and managing both electronic and physical documents. Taking on additional administrative or clerical work when bandwidth allows. Working collaboratively in a highvolume, fastpaced environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbia, SC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
