Support Technician (Mac Specialist) - Onsite | 8am-5pm | Location: Onsite, Monday-Friday Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Daily conference room sweeps required) Environment: 90% Mac / 10% Windows *About the Opportunity* * This is a rare chance to be the very first dedicated IT Support hire for a rapidly growing, fastmoving organization within the Coinbase ecosystem. If you love Macs, love problemsolving, and want to be the goto person for all things IT - this role is for you. *Where You'll Make an Impact* As our internal IT champion, you will: * Be the Frontline Hero * Serve as the primary help desk and desktop support contact for all hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. * Support a 90% Mac user base using Jamf, Okta, Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack, and related SaaS tools. Own the User Lifecycle * Manage onboarding from start to finish - device prep, account creation, access configuration, and dayone readiness. * Coordinate offboarding, asset management, and access revocation. Lead IT Operations & Best Practices * Maintain and refine inventory processes for laptops, peripherals, and software licenses. * Develop, document, and update Help Desk runbooks and internal IT procedures. * Champion enduser experience by enforcing best practices and advocating for efficient, secure workflows. AV & Room Support * Support Zoom/Zoom Rooms, conference room readiness, and occasional AV events. *What Makes You a Great Fit* Required Experience * 4+ years of professional Mac desktop support * Strong troubleshooting in macOS, iOS, and Windows SaaS support experience with: * Google Workspace / GSuite * Zoom + Zoom Rooms * Okta * Jamf * Slack Experience in: * Inventory and asset management * User lifecycle administration * Ticket queue management & SLAs * Writing or updating IT documentation/runbooks Preferred * Experience supporting a sales organization * AV event support experience * Familiarity with Active Directory, BetterCloud, and modern SaaS user provisioning flows Who You Are * Self-driven and proactive - you don't just solve problems, you anticipate them. * Strong communicator with a customerfirst mindset. * Steady, reliable job history demonstrating commitment and growth. * Enjoys being both handson and strategic in shaping IT foundations. *Why This Role Is a Big Deal* * This isn't just another IT job - you will be the first IT hire for a newly acquired business group. * Until now, IT has been handled by admins, owners, and sales staff.
