This role blends creative production with hands-on manufacturing. You will prepare artwork files for direct-to-substrate digital printing, translating bat graphics from design concept to finished product on baseball and softball bats. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume production environment while remaining curious about what modern printing technology can do. You'll maintain strict file and quality standards, troubleshoot production issues, and experiment with print techniques that inform future designs. Key Responsibilities * Prepare production-ready artwork files for direct-to-substrate printing * Ensure color accuracy, registration, and print specifications meet manufacturing requirements * Create, revise, and distribute production files to manufacturing * Perform quality checks on artwork prior to print runs and resolve issues proactively * Adapt artwork for multiple bat models, sizes, and product lines * Maintain organized digital asset libraries with version control * Experiment with print techniques and document findings for the design team * Collaborate with designers, art leadership, print operators, and manufacturing teams to meet production timelines Skills & Qualifications * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Print Production, or related field, or equivalent experience * 2+ years of experience in print production, prepress, or production art * Hands-on experience preparing files for digital print output (preflighting, packaging, file optimization) * Strong understanding of color management and print specifications * Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop * Experience working with digital printers and print-ready file preparation * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a production or factory environment * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
