As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Agent in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an armed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and help to identify and report security-related concerns while providing strong customer service and clear communication. You will respond to incidents, document activities, and collaborate with site teams to support smooth operations. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age

Minimum 2 plus years of Law Enforcement or Military experience (must be either Military Police or Combat Arms MOS) required

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site operations and/or public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, yards and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity and/or theft.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, authorizations and deliveries, and documenting visitor and vehicle activity per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain required armed post equipment, and communicate security-related observations to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
