Job Description




As a Security Officer Flex Armed Driver Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. This is an armed and driving post, requiring an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while supporting daily operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors and employees at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones, helping to identify suspicious activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing scene control, notifications, and coordination with Allied Universal leadership and/or public-sector contacts.
  • Perform access control duties including checking identification, monitoring entry points, and managing visitor processing in accordance with post orders and local requirements.
  • Complete timely security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and maintain assigned equipment and duty gear in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
