As an unarmed, primarily driving patrol officer at a busy retail mall location, you will make scheduled vehicle and foot rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document activity using a computer and/or tablet, support guests and tenants with professional customer service, and communicate clearly with site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with property management and local public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and respond to alarms, suspicious behavior, disturbances, and/or reports of lost or found property, documenting observations and actions per site procedures.
• Complete detailed written reports and incident documentation, including observations from patrols, interactions with the public, and escalation steps taken when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
