As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will patrol assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will assist associates and visitors with customer service, document observations, and escalate issues as needed. This role requires an armed guard card and/or license and reflects our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage retail and/or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floor, stock areas, receiving bays, parking lots, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and delivery activity, verifying credentials and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and vendors while maintaining accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Operate and monitor security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, radios, and/or access control, and complete reports with clear observations and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
