The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

This position serves as a technician for the eating disorders research unit in the department of Psychiatry. It is responsible for the primary operational support for studies, organizing research procedures, assisting in the collection.

Responsibilities



  • Organize and implement standard operating procedures for patient screening.
  • Conduct tailored initial screening calls with prospective research participants.
  • Ensure participant safety during procedure such as urine and saliva collections.
  • Manage data intake from multiple sources including clinician notes.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or related science or equivalent in education, training and experience.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous experience with laboratory meal studies preferred.
  • Two years of experience in a research setting.


Other Requirements



  • Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements.
  • Ability to organize a large number of time dependent tasks.
