Scope:

Responsible for planning out processes for the production, test and inspection of printed circuit boards within the facility, handles design for manufacturability issues internally and with the customer. This position is located at 6457 Fly Rd. East Syracuse, NY 13057.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews customer data packages, including drawings, specifications, CAD/CAM artwork, and quality requirements, and generates instructive packages for CAD/CAM and manufacturing.
  • Communicates directly with the customer when there are upfront concerns regarding design for manufacturability, offers options for improvement.
  • Works with manufacturing and quality to resolve issues that may arise during the build and/or inspection and test processes.
  • Maintains and controls customer and government documentation, and interacts with Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering regarding nonstandard products and processes.
  • Communicates regularly with Managers and Supervisors, suggests and composes procedural changes, maintains a clean, safe work environment and communicates to Supervisors safety hazards and issues.
  • Calculates initial impedance prediction models.
  • Creates proposed material stack-up models.
  • Creates proposed tab array fabrication drawings.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Incumbent must be detail oriented and able tocommunicate verbally and in written documentation.
  • Must have an excellent background in Microsoft Office- (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and adobe acrobat.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.
  • Sensitivity to confidential information is required
  • Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
  • Background with CAD/CAM or PCB software, such as Genesis 2000.

Education and Experience:

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Two-year associate's degree is viewed favorably.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-2 years Front End Engineering, CAD/CAM, or Programming experience.
  • 2-3 years PCB manufacturing experience.
Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$59,504 - $99,173

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
