Responsible to provide for the delivery and return of blood products and materials to internal and external customers.

Essential Functions
-Demonstrate a positive and polite demeanor and shows respect, in words and actions, towards all individuals and groups.
-Handing-off all processed packages to carriers at time of scheduled pick-ups
-Record information, such as items received and delivered and recipients' responses to messages.
-Cleans and maintains storeroom and receiving areas.
-Surgical specimens will be signed for at each office and a pick up log will be kept for the surgical specimens.
-Provides complete and accurate documentation for STAT pick ups, vehicle maintenance log and dispatch log.
-Interact with vendors in a polite and professional manner.
-Process customer packages using internal shipping system

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials
Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Personal Drivers License (New Hampshire) - New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles preferred MGH Security RMV Check/Registry of Motor Vehicles Driving Report - MGB Internal preferred

Experience
driving experience and an excellent driving record 5-7 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving.
- Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry.
- Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a production oriented environment.
