Overview

Apogee has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Management Analyst position supporting the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO) at Warner Robins AFB, GA. The MAR JPO manages systems to provide precise position, navigation, and timing information to a variety of Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems. This position supports the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), which is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight.

This is a full-time position located at Warner Robins Air Force Base (AFB).



Responsibilities

    Provide financial management support for GPS User Equipment acquisition programs including MAGR-2K, EGI, R-EGI, SDUE, and antenna systems
  • Develop program/project cost estimates for acquisition planning and budget submissions
  • Assist in preparation of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) inputs and financial documentation
  • Track and maintain financial data for program execution and report status through briefings and tracking systems
  • Support market research analysis and acquisition strategy development with cost analysis
  • Review incoming Purchase Requests (PRs) and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) for adequacy and completeness of documentation and availability of funds
  • Assist in developing cost estimates for Justifications & Approvals (J&As) and acquisition documents
  • Maintain acquisition trackers and financial tracking systems
  • Support manpower analysis activities and resource modeling
  • Prepare financial portions of Monthly Status Reports and program reviews
  • Analyze impacts of configuration management changes on lifecycle sustainment costs
  • Support funding requirements development for production and sustainment contracts


Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
Years of Experience: Seven (7) years of relevant financial management experience in DoD acquisition programs

Additional experience:

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS cost principles and allowability
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and financial tracking tools
  • Experience with Air Force financial systems and POM development - preferred

On-site: This is a full-time on-site position

Travel: Travel up to 10% may be required, per the customer's discretion
