Summary Join a fastpaced Emergency Department as a Patient Registrar, serving as a critical first point of contact for patients during highacuity moments. In this role, you'll support patient flow by gathering insurance and demographic information at the bedside while working closely with clinical staff in a dynamic ER environment. Available Shifts We are currently hiring for the following overnight and weekend shifts: * Nights * 7:30pm - 4:00am or 9:00pm - 5:30am * Variable / Weekend * Early morning start times between 4:00am - 11:00am * Saturday - Monday coverage Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays is required. What You'll Do * Greet and assist patients in the Emergency Department * Collect and verify insurance, demographic, and billing information * Confirm copays and obtain required signatures * Complete bedside registration using a clipboard, tablet, or WOW station * Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow * Work directly in clinical areas, with exposure to various conditions and environments What We're Looking For * 1+ year of experience in a healthcare clinic or hospital setting * Prior experience with insurance verification * Strong customer service and communication skills * Familiarity with medical terminology * EMR experience (Epic preferred) * Comfortable working in a fastpaced, highvolume ER setting Job Type & Location * ContracttoHire * Fully onsite * Fountain Valley, CA Pay * Pay Rate: $24.00/hr Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fountain Valley, CA.
