Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and execute longterm sales and marketing strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Establish pricing, positioning, and market segmentation strategies to maximize market share.
- Identify and pursue new markets, national accounts, and growth channels.
- Own sales forecasting, quotas, and pipeline management.
- Analyze performance trends and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement required sales and marketing plans with associated budgets.
- Meet with key clients, assist sales team, maintain relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
- Prepare monthly sales and marketing reports, detailing results and planned improvements.
- Lead trade show strategy and brand consistency across all channels.
- Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities (print, direct mail, electronic media, etc.).
- Lead, develop, and evaluate external sales team.
- Partner with inside sales, product development, and installation support to drive customer success.
- Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to maintain sales and marketing programs.
- Contribute to product research and development initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Ten years' minimum related experience with sales and marketing professionals.
- Proven experience leading and developing sales professionals.
- Exposure to architectural and construction sales (design professionals, bid environments, etc.).
Travel
This position requires travel - up to 50%. Computer Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated proficiency using HubSpot or similar CRM systems
- Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR or similar ERP systems
