The Philanthropy Specialist Database is responsible for database, report management, gift processing and ensuring accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of the donor database in support of Cone Health's Philanthropic Foundations and associated goals, projects, and performance.
Essential Job Function
- Assists in the planning and organization of operational activities related to donor database management and gift processing, supporting daily operations and ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality across all philanthropy related systems.
- Supports the development of strategic processes that enhance database utilization and reporting capabilities, aligning data operations with the mission, goals, and philanthropic objectives of the organization.
- Collaborates with program staff and internal partners, including physicians, nurses, administrative personnel, and philanthropy team members, to ensure accurate documentation of donor interactions, gifts, and engagement activities, fostering a cohesive workflow that supports fundraising and stewardship priorities.
- Drafts and manages program budgets related to database tools, reporting systems, and data driven initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and consistent monitoring of financial performance to support cost effective and mission aligned database operations.
- Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams, departmental leaders, community partners, and technology vendors, to strengthen data governance, streamline reporting processes, and enhance philanthropic insight and impact.
- Oversees the successful execution of database related programs and processes, such as gift processing, reporting, data audits, and system integrations, ensuring adherence to organizational standards, data security protocols, and industry best practices.
- Provides regular updates to senior leadership, summarizing data trends, reporting outcomes, system performance, challenges, and recommended solutions, while ensuring transparent communication regarding the impact of philanthropy related data across the organization.

Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Experience
- Required: 3 Years of experience.
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, Workday, and Microsoft Excel.
