Genesis10 is currently seeking a Production Services Specialist for a contract to hire position with a Global Financial Institution located in New York, NY. This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will join the Equities Derivatives Swaps production services team, providing front-line technical support for front office trading applications. The successful candidate will manage application platform monitoring, lead incident and problem management, and work with a global team to ensure platform stability and resiliency. This position requires strong technical skills with tools like Splunk and Dynatrace, along with an understanding of the Global Markets Equities domain. Responsibilities: Manage application platform monitoring and support Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative actions to ensure stability and resiliency Lead incident and problem management activities Onboard new applications and effectively communicate with stakeholders Learn the business and technical components of an application to ensure stable release deployments Collaborate with a wider global team providing production services across core trading technology locations Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Application support/development for critical trading platforms Experience with distributed application platforms: Windows, UNIX, LINUX, SQL Knowledge of Equities asset class and related trade processing flows Programming skills in Python, Unix/scripting, and Java Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and ITRS Geneos Knowledge of ITIL (Remedy/ServiceNow) and Jira Familiarity with messaging platforms Ability to lead triage and solve production outage situations under tight deadlines Hands-on experience providing direct support to front office trading desks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desired skills: Experience with Autosys, Ansible, Grafana, or Grid computing Knowledge of Tibco, MQ, Cloud, or IBM OpenShift Pay range: $32.69 - $40.69 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
