Now Hiring Quality Control Inspector La Vergne, TN Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour Shift: 2nd Shift Keep Quality Tight and Production Moving If you've got sharp eyes and take pride in doing it right, this Quality Control Inspector job in La Vergne has your name on it. You'll inspect, measure, and make sure every product meets the mark before it hits the floor. What It Takes to Keep Quality Strong Previous experience in manufacturing required Ability to read and interpret fixture instructions (available in English and Spanish) Strong visual inspection skills to identify flaws such as cracks, scratches, and rust Ability to stand and walk for longer periods Ability to lift heavy stamped gauges (up to 50 lbs) Computer skills On the Floor, Every Shift Perform 1st pieces inspection, the hourly inspection, and the last piece inspection Inspects parts and components for defects. Uses precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to test parts. Accurately record inspection results and measurements in the PLEX system. Identify, document, and quarantine non-conforming materials Support the production and quality departments in problem-solving Execute all job responsibilities, not specifically listed here, that may be determined necessary by the Quality Manager Demonstrates through personal action a strong commitment to disciplined adherence to process and procedures Actively contributes to and participates in continuous improvement initiatives Why You'll Love It Here: Solid Weekly Pay: Fair pay, every Friday.
