How You'll Contribute to the Team:

The Construction Intern supports Corvias' construction teams by assisting with both project management and field operations for new construction, renovation, and ancillary facility projects. This internship provides hands-on exposure to how Corvias plans, builds, and delivers high-quality homes through strong partnerships, disciplined execution, and a culture of safety.

The intern works alongside Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents to support day-to-day coordination, documentation, scheduling, and site activities-learning how projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and in alignment with Corvias' mission and values.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Provide general support to Project Managers and Superintendents with administrative and coordination tasks
• Assist with document organization, including drawings, specifications, meeting notes, and project files
• Help maintain accurate and organized project records within construction management systems
• Observe on-site construction activities to gain exposure to renovation and vertical construction work
• Participate in jobsite safety walks and safety documentation alongside the construction team
• Communicate questions, observations, and issues to assigned Project Managers or Superintendents
• Gain exposure to Corvias' construction standards, quality expectations, and safety culture
• Learn how construction projects progress from planning through execution
• Demonstrate curiosity, accountability, and a willingness to learn
• Support and model Corvias' Culture of Safety
• Other duties as assigned

Role Specific Requirements Include:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required.
• Interest in learning about construction processes, project coordination, and job site operations
• Basic familiarity with construction drawings and terminology or a willingness to learn
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills appropriate for an intern role
• Ability to manage assigned tasks and deadlines in a structured, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Word and Excel); exposure to construction software (e.g., Procore) is a plus but not required
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn in both office and field settings
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites as needed
