The Finance group in New York is seeking a candidate with four to six years of Finance experience (i.e., class of 2022-2020). Expertise in various types of secured lending transactions and familiarity with drafting and negotiating security interest opinions would be ideal. Candidate would be expected to develop an expertise in advising clients on UCC issues, with an emphasis on Article 9 Secured Transactions and Article 8 Investment Securities matters. The work primarily consists of reviewing security documentation, advising clients on personal property security interest issues and structures and reviewing security interest opinions. Candidate would also be expected to keep abreast of any upcoming changes to the UCC and related laws and to help with the Firm's knowledge management materials in this field. Candidate would support Finance attorneys as well as attorneys in various other transactional and non-transactional practice areas. High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience preferred. The starting base salary for this position is expected to be between $310,000 to $390,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law. This position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
