The group you'll be a part of

You will be part of Lam Research's global Finance and Digital Transformation organization, supporting enterprisewide financial systems and processes. The team partners closely with Finance, IT, Manufacturing, and Program leadership to deliver scalable, compliant, and futureready SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions across regions and business units.

The impact you'll make

In this role, you will deliver enterpriselevel impact by shaping how Lam designs, governs, and executes financial processes during largescale SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformations. You will influence finance architecture decisions, define futurestate designs, and ensure business continuity, compliance, and financial integrity across global operations.

What you'll do
  • Lead and own SAP Finance & Controlling solution design for ECC to S/4HANA transformations, operating independently on complex, highimpact initiatives.
  • Drive endtoend SAP S/4HANA migration strategy for FICO, including system conversion, process redesign, and new implementations. Conduct in-depth analysis and redesign of complex business processes,
  • Define futurestate finance architectures leveraging S/4HANA capabilities such as Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, and embedded analytics.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Partner with the internal audit, Cybersecurity, and other IT teams to ensure processes and technologies adhere to regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and internal controls, maintaining high levels of data integrity.
  • System Optimization: Analyze the effectiveness of existing systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to leverage technology for operational efficiency.
  • Assisting with various state and local indirect tax consulting projects including sales & use and excise tax overpayment reviews, tax implications of sales and purchase transactions, audit defense services, nexus planning, and voluntary disclosures.
  • Must have proficiency in implementing/supporting tax technology products, such as Vertex, Corp Tax and other similar tax software
What you'll do
  • Design, configure, and optimize SAP FICO modules with a strong focus on Product Costing (COPC) and Cost Object Controlling (COOM) in manufacturing environments.
  • Serve as the functional authority for crossmodule integrations between FICO, SD, MM, and PP.
  • Partner with Global partners in Europe, India and US.
  • Guide integration with external and adjacent systems including FP&A platforms, SAP RAR, tax engines, and financial close tools.
  • Own financial data migration strategy and execution, ensuring accuracy, reconciliation, auditability, and compliance.
  • Partner with senior Finance and IT leaders to translate business strategy into scalable system designs.
  • Lead testing strategy, issue resolution, and golive readiness for enterprise finance processes.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate team activities, mentoring and developing team members to achieve project objectives.
Who we're looking for

We are looking for a recognized SAP Finance subjectmatter expert who operates with minimal supervision, exercises independent judgment, and influences decisions across organizational boundaries. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and thrives in complex, global environments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive SAP FICO experience across ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Deep expertise in manufacturing finance, product costing, External Tax Engine (Vertex) and controlling processes.
  • Proven experience designing and governing crossmodule SAP solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Strong ability to influence senior business and IT stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
  • SAP certification in FICO and/or SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience leading global SAP rollouts or multiregion implementations.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration and data migration tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based and on-premises integration technologies (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit).

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $92,000.00 -$211,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
