Position Description

  • Independently review and negotiate standard and nonstandard commercial contracts in line with company guidelines and legal requirements
  • Negotiate and administer complex government contracts, including FAR and DFARS compliance
  • Work closely on a day-to-day basis with Project Management, Sales, and other internal teams to process a high volume of awards, orders, and documents and raise contractual risks, rights, and obligations
  • Think critically regarding contract issues from a legal and business perspective, provide basic risk analysis and contractual issue discussion with executive team for approvals
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, provide contract feedback and work with internal departments to evaluate contracts
  • Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and customer contact activities
  • Resolve standard issues independently and provide solution-based feedback and support for more complex issues
  • Enter and manage data in internal systems
  • Complete representations and certifications, insurance requests, and associated documents


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in legal or contracts administration
  • Proficiency with Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Security clearance or the ability to obtain security clearance
