Job Description




As a Security Officer - Patrol Officer in Boardman, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage location as an unarmed Patrol Officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control and badge checks, and document and communicate security-related concerns with professionalism. Your visible presence can help to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Bring teamwork and integrity to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific post orders, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or local emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production, warehouse, yard, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying authorization, managing visitor sign-in, and assisting with truck and/or delivery traffic flow as directed by site policy.
  • Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and access records, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
