As a Security Officer Patrol in Gilroy, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following store and location policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and timely reporting.
• Assist with access control and visitor interactions, provide directions to customers and staff, and document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
