Position Description The Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily maintenance operations to ensure equipment, systems, and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role leads a team of maintenance technicians, manages work orders and preventive maintenance schedules, coordinates contractors, and ensures compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Oversight Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and support staff. Assign, prioritize, and review work orders for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance for electrical, mechanical, and building systems. Conduct performance evaluations and support training plans. Maintenance Operations Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life. Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and emergency situations. Safety & Compliance Conduct routine safety audits, equipment inspections, and incident investigations. Maintain documentation for safety compliance, permits, and regulatory requirements. Support lockout/tagout (LOTO), hazard communication, and other safety programs. Required Education & Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or industrial operations. 1-3 years of supervisory or lead technician experience preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or building systems. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Excellent communication, leadership, and problemsolving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment. Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Work may involve noise, heights, confined spaces, and use of PPE.
