Purpose

The Senior Recruiting Coordinator serves as a high-level coordinator and subjectmatter expert for employer engagement operations, recruiting systems, major career events, and ECAC office management. This role is responsible for managing complex recruiting and financial processes, leading highvolume employer programs, and ensuring operational excellence, consistency, and continuity across recruiting services. This position works in tandem with and reports to the ECAC Senior Manager Employer Engagement.

In addition to direct coordination, the Senior Recruiting Coordinator plays a key role in process improvement, documentation, training, and crossfunctional collaboration, serving as a stable and experienced resource for employers, students, and internal stakeholders during peak recruiting cycles and periods of organizational transition.

Responsibilities Lead Employer Recruiting Operations & Systems Management
  • Serve as a point of contact for employer partners utilizing ECAC recruiting services.

  • Guide employers through recruiting processes, timelines, and best practices, ensuring alignment with university, state, and federal policies.

  • Coordinate oncampus interviews, recruiting events, and employer engagement requests.

  • Provide advanced support, troubleshooting, and guidance related to the university's recruiting management system (e.g., job postings, interview schedules, access issues).

  • Maintain a high standard of employer service and professionalism, contributing to ECAC's reputation for excellence.

Coordinate Major Career Events and Employer Programs
  • Facilitate employer engagement and logistics for largescale recruiting events, including career fairs, expos, information sessions, and special recruiting initiatives.

  • Assist with employer communications, registration processes, timelines, and dayof logistics.

  • Oversee postevent followup, data collection, and reporting to support assessment and continuous improvement.

Process Improvement, Documentation & Training
  • Develop, update, and maintain process documentation, templates, timelines, and training materials related to recruiting operations, events, and administrative procedures.

  • Contribute to internal knowledge management systems to support onboarding, crosstraining, and continuity of operations.

  • Identify workflow gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance team effectiveness and reduce bottlenecks.

Administrative Operations & Office Support
  • Assist with employer invoicing, office purchasing, inventory tracking, and administrative reconciliation.

  • Support data tracking, reporting, and assessment related to employer engagement and recruiting activity.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support ECAC operations and strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with five years of experience in career services, employer recruiting, or human resources.

  • Experience working with software for databases, spreadsheets, and presentations.

  • Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and professional judgment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organization and analytic skills with resourcefulness, initiative, and ability to work independently on multiple projects with little supervision.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines. Ability to maintain current computer skills.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree with three years of experience in career services, employer recruiting, or human resources.

  • Familiarity with online recruiting systems

  • Experience within a university environment.

  • Familiarity with online recruiting/applicant tracking systems.

Salary Range

$55,000 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions
  • May work around standard office conditions

  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation

  • Use of manual dexterity

Work Shift
  • Standard business hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Work outside of normal business hours may be required on an occasional basis during peak periods.

Employment Eligibility:
