Senior Program Manager WORK LOCATION:Hanscom AFB, MA (Bedford, MA) Salary Range:$125,000-$140,000* *depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications JOB STATUS: Full-time; Salaried CLEARANCE:MUST have an active DoD Secret clearance Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI), which focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. RESPONSBILITIES:
- Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. DAES, MAR, etc.). Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
- Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
- Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions.
- Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
- Advanced DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge to include a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices.
- Assist with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
- Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
- Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
- Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
- Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
- Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
- Oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree and 12 years of experience, of which 5 years must be in the DoD.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
- Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
- Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
- Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
- Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
- Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must have an active US security clearance.
