Position Summary: Daily management of Company facilities in Dade and Broward counties, including, Stores, Cargo Operations offices and warehouse, and Sales offices. Primarily responsible for ensuring efficiency, neat appearance, and full facility functionality by conducting daily floor checks of common areas, conference rooms, and kitchens. Work in conjunction with the landlord and others, and local Company leaders to provide vital support to all facilities and building management functions.

Major Job Accountabilities:



  • With emphasis on daily management of Stores and Cargo Operations, manager will be responsible for assigned facilities to ensure efficiency, neat appearance, and full facility functionality by conducting daily floor checks including common areas, training areas, conference rooms and kitchens. When deficiencies are identified, initiate corrective action to repair/replace.
  • Participate in project development and execution of corporate directives.
  • Primary point of contact for special events and meetings at the assigned facilities. Manage catering, set-up and booking of conference rooms.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate processing of all work orders through to completion, collaborating with Property Management as needed.
  • Oversee and/or perform office management responsibilities to ensure effective and operational workplace for employees and teams, such as ordering/restocking of office and shipping supplies.
  • Respond to employee facilities requests in a prompt and pleasant manner.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards for space allocation and functionality.
  • Collaborate with facility maintenance including dispatching and escorting vendors working in the building.
  • Receive vendor deliveries and sign receiving documents.
  • Review all invoices and verify services have been rendered and/or products received, then process for manager's approval.
  • Manage and coordinate internal seating changes and relocations as well as new hire seating including coordinating furniture reconfiguration, cleaning work areas as necessary and assist with any other facility related employee requests.
  • Provide tour and basic explanation of facility-related issues to all incoming employees.
  • Manage and maintain an updated employee location list in the Facilities Data Base using Tango Space Reservation application (or equivalent).
  • Maintain information related to Company equipment for corporate office and remote locations in South Florida area including photocopiers, and postage metering equipment.
  • Oversee the integration of assigned sites use of centralized archiving.
  • Oversee and manage a coordinated schedules for mail pick-ups and deliveries, including postage metering where applicable.
  • Action inquiries regarding office (not cargo) shipment status and run tracers as necessary.
  • Act as primary administrator of conference room calendars and schedules.
  • Ensure best and highest use of conferencing resources, work to limit inefficient use.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by Director, Facilities and Services.



Qualifications:



  • High school diploma required, 4-year college degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Five years of facility management experience.
  • Experience managing large-scale office space or industrial properties preferred
  • Experience managing multiple office locations.
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors preferred.



Special Demands:



  • Some lifting is required (up to 50 pounds).


Skills:



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Ariba).
  • Proficiency in BlueBeam.
  • Dependability and the ability to communicate effectively with others.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
$75,000 $102,000 USD
