Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior grounds, perimeter areas, entry points, and other assigned spaces, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing site traffic, and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related concerns.
• Support operations at a technology-focused location by remaining attentive to sensitive infrastructure areas, following post orders, and escalating issues that could impact personnel, property, and/or business continuity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
