Temp: 6-12-month assignment Key Responsibilities * Financial Management: Assist in financial planning and management of the project(s), including time recording / valuation, capitalization, PO forecasting & actuals.
* Variance Analysis: Investigate variances between budgeted and actual costs, providing insights to project managers.
* Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to provide timely financial information and support project goals.
* Reporting: Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and cost estimates using Apptio Target Process for project management and oversight.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards particularly related to internally developed technology accounting, reviewing contracts and reporting project cost performance as necessary.
Qualifications:
Experience & Skills
* 3-5 years of experience, preference toward the more senior end
* Strong background in:
o Project accounting
o Financial forecasting
o Reconciliation
* Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
* Experience working with distributed/global teams
* Additional language skills are a nice-to-have, not required
* No direct budget ownership; role focuses on monitoring and support * Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is typically required.
* Experience: At least five years of experience in project accounting or a related field is preferred, with familiarity in project accounting software - SAP required, Apptio One / Target Process desirable * Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

* Team is small but geographically dispersed (not Dallas-based)
* High level of interaction with other locations and stakeholders
