As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Watch in Whittier, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a respected cultural institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, families, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with local contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout grounds, buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and help support respectful conduct throughout the location during services, events, and daily operations.
• Observe and report conditions such as unsecured areas, suspicious behavior, traffic concerns, and/or policy violations, while following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
