Job Title: Program Manager

Duration of project: 9 months

Location: 100% Remote (Quarterly travel possible)

Description:

  • Client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support and oversee the Fleet Program within our Health Ministries, with a primary focus on portable clinical imaging assets, including ultrasound devices. This role requires a seasoned program leader who can operate at a strategic level, collaborate across multiple teams, and drive execution across a complex, multi market environment-without direct reports but with significant influence.

Position Summary:

  • The Program Manager will be responsible for the successful definition, implementation, and delivery of a complex program composed of multiple projects and project managers. This role will partner closely with the Clinical Imaging (CI) team-particularly those overseeing device deployments across multiple markets-to ensure alignment, coordination, and on time delivery of both fixed and portable assets.
  • Much of the upcoming work will center on portable ultrasound devices, which makes a background in clinical imaging highly preferred. Experience supporting device installations (any modality) is also valuable as this role helps bridge operational gaps between teams.
  • The Program Manager will collaborate directly with project managers who report to the CI lead and will work within a dotted line structure. This individual will serve as a utility player, stepping in where needed to support planning, scheduling, risk management, vendor interactions, and cross team communication.
  • This position is remote, with the possibility of occasional travel for quarterly planning sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership & Delivery
  • Lead the execution of a complex, multi market Fleet Program involving fixed and portable clinical imaging assets-primarily portable ultrasound devices.
  • Deliver program outcomes within defined scope, time, quality, and budget constraints while managing moderate level risks and dependencies.
  • Conduct strategic program planning, facilitate executive level communication, and resolve complex cross-functional issues.
  • Cross Functional & Vendor Collaboration
  • Serve as the connective tissue across teams, vendors, and organizational units to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks.
  • Partner closely with project managers across markets who oversee device specific deployments.
  • Work collaboratively with CI leadership (including Team) to advance program goals.
  • Project Oversight & Support
  • Support oversight of project scheduling, requirements documentation, scope management, budgeting, and status reporting across multiple related projects.
  • Leverage the expertise of project managers within the CI structure and influence outcomes through coordination-not direct supervision.
  • Provide hands-on assistance where necessary, especially around planning and workflow management of device installations.
  • Operational & Technical Execution
  • Manage and track the delivery flow for portable ultrasound devices, ensuring readiness, installation, and deployment activities are on schedule.
  • Utilize tools such as ServiceNow and Google Workspace for documentation, tracking, and communication.
  • Ensure alignment with technology lifecycle processes and organizational standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Healthcare experience is a must-particularly within clinical imaging or medical device environments.
  • Experience managing complex, multi project programs with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong background in project estimating, scheduling, tracking, and implementation planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly in new environments and manage competing priorities.
  • Proven influencing skills; able to lead without direct authority and work across departments and reporting structures.
  • Ability to assess risk, communicate proactively, and implement contingency plans.
  • Experience working in large, multi platform technology or clinical environments.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and Google Workspace tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical Imaging (CI) background, particularly with device deployment workflows.
  • Experience supporting device installation programs (any device type).
  • PMP certification preferred but not required-experience is more important than credentials.
  • MBA or related advanced degree.

Interview Process:

  • Two interview rounds.
  • Round 1: High-level evaluation of program management approach and background.
  • Round 2: Additional vetting by HM to validate technical fit and skill alignment.
