Nuclear Surety Aerospace Engineer

As an aerospace engineer with intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) nuclear weapon system experience, you know the surety of nuclear weapon systems is critical to national defense. We need your skills and expertise in ICBM engineering to manage the program.

As an aerospace engineer on out nuclear surety team, you'll share your expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and improving the nuclear surety of current and future ICBM systems. Your experience in both is key and makes you an integral part of meeting the client's needs.

You Have:

  • 30+ years of experience in testing and analyzing ICBM systems

  • Experience with the Air Force Sentinel, Ground Based Strategic Deterrent, ICBM system

  • Experience with Air Force nuclear weapon systems

  • Knowledge of system engineering and test principles

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Top Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with nuclear safety or nuclear surety

  • Knowledge of specific systems used on ICBMs, such as the arming and fusing system

  • Ability to work closely with the client team on a daily basis

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
