As a Pharmacy Technician in our community pharmacy, you will play a vital role in supporting both the pharmacy team and the patients we serve. Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional prescription dispensing to include patient-centered, proactive care. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, including certification to provide immunizations. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Graduate of a pharmacy technician program preferred. Experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE Pharmacy Technician Licensure required Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Certification through NHA required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Effective communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and technology tools. Willingness to obtain immunization certification. LEVEL OF SUPERVISION Work is performed according to specific procedures and methods, but the incumbent must make minor decisions in order to adapt to routine situations.
