As a Security Officer Access Gate Coordinator in Mechanicsburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. Pay Rate: $18.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, processing visitors, and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
• Support receiving and shipping access activity by monitoring designated entry points, communicating with site contacts, and reporting security-related concerns involving vehicles, contractors, and/or deliveries.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
