Description

Responsibilities:



  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Maintain smooth working relationship with the State Police.
  • Complies and enforces all state and gaming regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinates moves and conversions of slot machines.
  • Monitors the data system that is connected to the slot machines.
  • Handles guest disputes as necessary.
  • Observes and evaluates technical personnel.
  • Protects company assets.


Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • Supervises Slot Techs. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Competencies:



  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to work well with large amounts of cash.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.


Work Environment:



  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
  • Will work with jet sorts, coin rollers, and slot machines on a daily basis. Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to lift heavy machinery.
  • Must be able to stand at least 8 hours.

Compensation:



  • $21.00/hr
