Summary Performs basic and routine facilities and equipment maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards. Works at the direction of the office manager and or production equipment manager. Responsibilities Following standard operating procedures, installs, inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, special test equipment and waste management systems. Facilitates subcontract maintenance activities when scope is beyond capable repair. Assists with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, carpentry, installation of fixtures, and moving/assembly of furniture or materials within the facility. Works with or assists trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs. Performs preventative maintenance (PM) and maintains electronic PM system including task addition, modification and execution. Non Facilities tasks, to include assembly of production support needs, workstations, noncritical ground support equipment, office arrangement support. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Drive company vehicle for required supply runs or product courier as delegated. Assumes all other responsibilities as assigned. Ideal Experience High School Diploma 2+ years' experience with additional specialized training and/or certification Ability to lift 50 lbs Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities. Ability to operate scissor lift and forklift and maintain certification. Clean driving record with no major infractions or accidents Valid Drivers License Desired Skills Demonstrated ability to take initiative and think proactively. Able to problem solve and communicate across all levels of the organization. Pay Range $25.00 - $34.00 How We Determine What We Pay (Compensation Philosophy) Redwire determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for our locations throughout the US. We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index, in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant's level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
