Role Purpose: The GT PD Downstream people manager role provides oversight in process and platform development, improvement/optimization, characterization, and tech transfer to support gene therapy programs/products under DQP. This role demonstrates strong scientific and people leadership skills with deep understanding of gene therapy process and development. Shape and develop its strategic direction and drive operational excellence in line with TRD vision and strategy. Leads and manages all project/network activities and apply scientific/technical expertise to address complex development issues and actively support TRD strategies and goals by participating in cross-functional teams. Lead scientific programs, co-ordinate interdisciplinary projects and teams. Develop long term strategies on science and technologies. Job Description Major accountabilities:

The salary for this position is expected to range between $145,600 and $270,400 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
