Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to be engaged in a team that influences the functional strategy and related deliveries from "Day One" while designing the functional blueprints and related requirements to expand upon our digital and automated Client Onboarding platform to grow revenue and reduce friction (costs/manual processes). We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Vice President (AVP) Business Analyst (BA) to join our Business Platforms and Process Automation team with experience leading requirements analysis, leading scrum team and interfacing with stakeholders to solve the complex Client Onboarding challenges that Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank faces today. The aim is to create a single product agnostic global Client Onboarding platform with self-service capability for the clients to request new deals and get set up quickly in order to transact. You will be providing functional requirements to build components of our single-user interface portal, our key-stone technology platform that is both internal and external client-facing. Within the Corporate Bank, you will support solutions that enable liquidity management, payments, trade finance, lending, and institutional cash and securities services for corporate and financial institution clients worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Lead requirements gathering, translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories, and manage the full requirements lifecycle including prioritization and traceability
  • Design and document end to end business processes including As Is and To Be states and perform gap, impact, and solution analysis
  • Partner with internal and technology teams to deliver platform features across web portals, APIs, and workflow tools ensuring accurate implementation of business requirements
  • Support testing, validation, and go live readiness across the delivery lifecycle
  • Drive stakeholder alignment across business, operations, and technology teams through workshops, demos, and ongoing collaboration
  • Produce high quality artefacts including process flows, data mappings, and functional designs while ensuring compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory standards

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least extensive overall technology experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex functional and operational challenges through structured analysis and solution design
  • Experience working within Agile teams, applying iterative development and rapid feedback to continuously improve solutions
  • Advanced proficiency in functional design and requirements leadership, producing clear Features, and User Stories that drive high-quality releases

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $153,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
